# HALO CME ALERTS from the SIDC (RWC-Belgium), generated by CACTUS #
#--------------------------------------------------------------------#
A halo coronal mass ejection (CME) was reported by the CACTUS automated
detection tool with a liftoff time around 06:12 UTC. This is an erroneous
automated detection, which consists of two separate CMEs. The first CME was
observed in SOHO/LASCO-C2 around 22:00 UTC on April 13th, from the
south-east limb. The second CME was observed in SOHO/LASCO-C2 around 03:50
UTC on April 14th, from the north-west limb. Neither CME is expected to
impact the
Earth.#--------------------------------------------------------------------#

This message is of the Fast Alert type.
The CACTUS software package scans through the images produced by the SOHO/LASCO coronagraph. When it detects a partial or full halo CME, this warning message is generated.
Check the ISES code book for information on ISES codes.
